My name is Nelli Sazonova. I was born in Ukraine, but since I was ten I have been living and working in Moscow.
I made my first teddy bear in September 2006. At that time, there were only two material stores in Russia. It was interesting for me to try professional materials for bears: viscose, mohair, alpaca. I bought a lot of fabrics for myself and began to share them with other teddy bear lovers. This is how I met a lot of wonderful people.
In 2008 I took part in a fair for the first time and it opened to me up a whole wonderful world of creativity. Fairs have been my way of life ever since. Thanks to the shows I made many wonderful friends in different parts of the world.
But fairs are only temporarily. So I began to dream of my own studio, where I could meet people, talk to friends, choose professional materials and, of course, learn how to sew bears. This is how my store appeared — Mishkodel. I love telling people about teddy bears, teaching them, and helping them choose materials for any idea. And of course, we ship all over the world.
I really miss travelling and communicating with teddy bear enthusiasts. I’m glad to be a part of the Hugglets Online Festival and find new friends here.
