Be found all year, in print and online.
Since 1987, the Hugglets Teddy Bear Guide has been where collectors look for the people behind the bears: makers, artists, shops, suppliers, repairers and restorers. It is published every year on 27 October; it stays on the shelf for a full year, and it is opened again whenever someone is looking for a name, a contact or an idea. Most of that looking is for someone they have not met yet.
Every edition also carries original articles written for collectors, on the history of famous bears, on the workshops behind them and on remarkable finds, which is why the Guide is read from cover to cover and not only consulted.
Every entry also appears on hugglets.com, where it remains permanently available and can be found by search engines and by the AI assistants that collectors increasingly use to look things up. Print and online, for the same entry.
The 2027 edition
The 2027 Guide will be published on 27 October 2026, five weeks after the first Hugglets TEDDIES Festival at the NEC Birmingham. It is the first edition compiled for the wider audience the move brings with it, and it will also be on the tables at the Winter BearFest on 28 February 2027.
The last edition sold out in the spring, for the first time in the history of the Guide, and we are increasing the print run for 2027.
Our rates have not changed in over a decade, and they will not change for 2027.

Questions and answers
Select a question to read the answer.
Do I have to pay when I book?
No. We send your invoice in October, after the Guide has gone to press. The payment period is 14 days.
I have no artwork. Can you help?
A listing and a Bear Gallery picture need no artwork at all. For a display advertisement, send us a rough idea of what you have in mind and we will prepare it for you, at approximately 10 per cent of the cost of the space. Minor changes to an advertisement we prepared in an earlier year can usually be made at little or no cost.
How should I send my own artwork?
As a JPG or TIFF at 300 dpi, or as a high-quality PDF. Photographs for the Bear Gallery are best sent as JPG. Please email them to contact@hugglets.co.uk.
Will I see my entry before it is printed?
Yes. A proof is normally sent for your approval before publication.
Can I appear in more than one section?
Yes, and we recommend it. Each listing costs £15, and collectors rarely look beyond the section they started in.
Does my entry appear online as well?
Yes. Listings and Bear Gallery pictures appear on hugglets.com and stay there all year.
Do I receive a copy of the Guide?
Yes, a complimentary copy on publication.
Is VAT added?
For advertisers based in the United Kingdom, VAT at 20 per cent. For international entries, none.
