Hi, my name is Jan. I was born in Stockport in 1957. I’ve always loved teddy bears. When I was 10 my family emigrated to Australia and my four treasured teds went with me.
I returned to England when I was thirteen and of course, the teds came home too. They now sit in my bedroom and I love them as much now as when I was a child.
I also love dogs and breed and showed Pugs for over twenty years, my highlight was a first at Crufts. I have now retired from breeding and showing Pugs but still have a houseful of oldies, they are my babies.
I started to make bears in the 90’s and found my passion. I love creating little souls and it makes me so happy when someone loves my work and wants to add it to their collection.
