I am Tatiana Zelenkova, a teddy bear and doll artist.
I was born in Ukraine. Now I live in Crimea, not far from the Black Sea. And it seems to me that all my works are saturated with the smell of cypresses, salt and sea breeze.
I have a big family – a husband, 3 sons and a daughter.
By education, I am an engineer, journalist and teacher. But I sew, knit, draw and sculpt from my early childhood on. I have been doing serious creative work for over 6 years. And it became the work of my whole life. First, there were reborn dolls, then replicas of old dolls and, finally, teddy bears and their friends.
I am participating in international exhibitions (Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Ukraine, Russia) and won several competitions, including international ones.
It is my engineering education that gives me the opportunity to come up with technically complex characters, to build interesting author’s patterns. So I try something new all the time.
I love creating collections for exhibitions and individual characters. I am always full of ideas and am in a hurry to realise them. In my works, you can find different styles, colours and original solutions. I pay great attention to details. I do everything by hand. I use quality professional materials and tools. Creativity has become my Zen.
